2026-10-01selftests/rdma: Skip rxe_sent_rcvd_bytes when rdma_rxe is missingBjoern Doebel
On a kernel built without CONFIG_RDMA_RXE the test exits 1 instead of skipping: # modprobe: FATAL: Module rdma_rxe not found in directory ... not ok 467 selftests: rdma: rxe_sent_rcvd_bytes.sh # exit=1 Every other test in this directory probes with modinfo and exits $KSFT_SKIP. Apply the same guard, identical to the one in the otherwise near-identical rxe_socket_with_netns.sh. 2026-09-29RDMA/selftests: Fix the kernel config fragmentSasha Levin
The config fragment lists bare option names with no values: CONFIG_TUN CONFIG_VETH CONFIG_DUMMY CONFIG_NET_NS CONFIG_RDMA_RXE which is not valid Kconfig syntax. When the fragment is merged, for example by "make kselftest-merge" or by CI systems, the lines are rejected: .config:5514:warning: unexpected data: CONFIG_TUN .config:5515:warning: unexpected data: CONFIG_VETH .config:5516:warning: unexpected data: CONFIG_DUMMY and none of the options gets enabled, so the rxe tests skip or fail for lack of the modules they load. Give each option a value. The scripts load and unload tun, veth, dummy and rdma_rxe with modprobe, so build those as modules. RDMA_RXE also depends on INFINIBAND, and rxe_rping_between_netns.sh runs rping, which needs the RDMA CM userspace interface provided by INFINIBAND_USER_ACCESS, so add both. Found by KernelCI kselftest builds. 2026-07-26RDMA/selftests: Add rxe_netns_names testJiri Pirko
Add a kselftest script that exercises per-netns RDMA device naming with RXE. Cover duplicate names across namespaces, move conflict handling, move-with-rename, and same-namespace rename requests. 2026-05-18selftest/rxe: Add selftests for perfZhu Yanjun
Create a virtual TUN net device with RXE support, then run rping server and client to invoke networking packets, finally compare both *port_xmit_data* and *port_rcv_data* of such device. 2026-05-13selftests/rdma: explicitly skip tests when required modules are missingYi Lai
Currently, the rdma rxe selftests fail with an exit code of 1 when required kernel modules are not present. This causes spurious failures in environments where these modules might not be compiled or available. Include the standard kselftest 'ktap_helpers.sh' and replace the hardcoded error exits with '$KSFT_SKIP'. This ensures the tests are properly marked as skipped rather than failed.
