2026-10-07ASoC: SOF: pcm: Modify the signature of a couple of PCM IPC opsRanjani Sridharan
In order to reuse the pipeline triggering logic for compressed support with IPC4, modify the signature of the trigger and hw_free PCM IPC ops so that they can be reused. 2026-10-07ASoC: SOF: compress: Rename compress ops with ipc3 prefixRanjani Sridharan
In preparation for adding support for compressed offload support for IPC4, rename the current compress implementation with the IPC3 prefix and rename the compress.c file to ipc3-compress.c Introduce a new field in struct sof_ipc_pcm_ops to save the IPC-specific compressed ops pointer, which is assigned to the component driver ops during SOF device probe. As this now depends on the IPC ops, move snd_sof_new_platform_drv() after the IPC ops are initialized. 2026-07-03ASoC: SOF: amd: add ACP7x I2S DAI type and topology supportVijendar Mukunda
Add SOF_DAI_AMD_I2S DAI type for ACP7.B/7.F I2S/TDM interfaces. Register the ACPTDM topology DAI name and map it to SOF_DAI_AMD_I2S; IPC3 continues to parse ACP I2S link parameters through SOF_ACPI2S_TOKENS (including the format token from the prior commit), not a new token group named after ACPTDM. Add sof_link_acp_i2s_load() and the SOF_DAI_AMD_I2S PCM dai link fixup path. 2023-03-22ASoC: SOF: pcm: Make hw_params reset conditional for IPC3Ranjani Sridharan
In the case of IPC4, since there is no PCM_PARAMS IPC to send the new stream tag when restarting a stream without a hw_free, the original stream tag needs to be preserved. So, add new a flag as part of struct sof_ipc_pcm_ops, reset_hw_params_during_stop and set it only for IPC3. This will ensure that the host DMA stream tag will not be given up during the STOP trigger for IPC4. 2022-05-04ASoC: SOF: ipc3: Remove the ipc3-ops.h header filePeter Ujfalusi
