ACP7.B and ACP7.F require signed firmware to be authenticated by the
AMD Security Processor (ASP) before the DSP can execute it. Implement
a new two-stage firmware load path via the ASP MPASP mailbox.
Stage 1 (probe time): query ASP for the physical base address and ATU
group assignment of a pre-allocated 32 MB MALL carveout region. If
ASP does not support carveout, probe fails immediately.
Stage 2 (load time): load the signed image from disk, send it to ASP
via VALIDATE_IMAGE; ASP authenticates the image and deposits the raw
binary into the carveout. The driver then SHA-DMAs the raw binary from
the carveout into DSP IRAM.
On D3->D0 resume the raw binary is preserved in the carveout; the
driver skips the filesystem load and ASP authentication and restores
directly from the saved carveout address.

When amd_sof_sdw_machine_select() returns a SoundWire machine, it did
not carry the PDM controller selection to the machine driver. Without
this, acp-sdw-sof-mach.c cannot configure the correct DMIC DAI link
for ACP7.B/7.F platforms.
Allocate amd_pdm_pdata and assign it to mach->pdata in the SDW machine
select return path when acp_data->pdm_sel is non-zero, mirroring the
existing handling in amd_sof_machine_select().

Extend the AMD SOF machine driver to propagate the PCI subsystem
Vendor and Device IDs so that they may be subsequently used as an

Add handle_amd_sof_acp7x_sdw_pme_event() to iterate over all four
SoundWire managers on runtime PM resume, clear PME status and
wake-enable bits (under acp_lock to prevent races with the IRQ path),
and request runtime resume for each active manager.
Extend amd_sof_acp7x_suspend() with a clock-stop fast path: when
SoundWire managers are in clock-stop mode, write ZSC_DSP_CTRL=1 and
call acp_dsp_reset() instead of the full acp_reset() to preserve
SoundWire bus state. Extend amd_sof_acp7x_resume() with a matching
clock-stop resume path that restores ZSC_DSP_CTRL and re-arms PME_EN.
Introduce amd_sof_acp7x_suspend_runtime() and
amd_sof_acp7x_resume_runtime() as separate runtime PM callbacks.
The runtime resume path calls handle_amd_sof_acp7x_sdw_pme_event()
after re-initialising hardware to clear any PME state that arrived
during the suspend window.

During acp_init() for ACP7.B/7.F, read ACP7X_SW_WAKE_EN and enable the
corresponding host-wake interrupt mask in ACP7X_EXTERNAL_INTR_CNTL1 only

ACP7X_SW_HOST_WAKE_MASK << i in INTR_CNTL1). This ensures only the active

ACP7.B/7.F exposes four SoundWire managers (SDW0-SDW3), each with
dedicated interrupt, wake-enable, PME status and error registers.
Add acp7x_irq_handler() to dispatch:
- Per-manager data IRQs via sof_acp7x_handle_sdw_manager_irq()
- Host-wake and PME events via
sof_amd_check_and_handle_acp7x_sdw_wake_irq() which checks both
sources independently per manager so simultaneous host-wake and
PME events are not missed
- Error conditions via sof_amd_acp7x_clear_sdw_err_regs() which
writes back the updated error status to clear only the affected
manager bit

Richard Fitzgerald <rf@opensource.cirrus.com> says:
These are for-next.
They are not urgent because it only leaks memory if the driver failed to
component_probe or is removed, which wouldn't happen in normal use.
This series fixes some memory leaks:
- The memory allocated by wm_adsp/cs_dsp was not freed.
- If component_probe() failed it didn't clean up.
The addition of this cleanup in patch #3 exposes an existing possible
double-free of the debugfs, which is fixed in patch #2.

The smn_read_register() helper returns negative error codes on failure
or the register value on success. When used with read_poll_timeout(),
the return value is stored in the 'data' variable.
Currently 'data' is declared as u32, which causes negative error codes
to be cast to large positive values. This makes the condition 'data > 0'
incorrectly treat errors as success.
Fix by changing 'data' from u32 to int, matching the pattern used in
psp_mbox_ready() which correctly handles the same helper function.

The copied_total field in struct snd_compr_tstamp is a 32-bit
value that can overflow on long-running high-bitrate streams,
leading to incorrect calculations for buffer availablility.
This patch adds a 64-bit safe timestamping mechanism.
A new UAPI struct, snd_compr_tstamp64, is added which uses 64-bit
types for byte counters. The relevant ops structures across the
ASoC and core compress code are updated to use this new struct.
ASoC drivers are updated to use u64 counters.
Internal timestamps being u64 now, a compatibility function is added
to convert the 64-bit timestamp back to the 32-bit format for legacy
ioctl callers.

git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/tiwai/sound
Pull sound updates from Takashi Iwai:
"We've received a lot of activities in this cycle, mostly about leaf
driver codes rather than the core part, but with a good mixture of
code cleanups and new driver additions. Below are some highlights:
ASoC:
- Support for automatically enumerating DAIs from standards
conforming SoundWire SDCA devices; not much used as of this
writing, rather for future implementations
- Conversion of quite a few drivers to newer GPIO APIs
- Continued cleanups and helper usages in allover places
- Support for a wider range of Intel AVS platforms
- Support for AMD ACP 7.x platforms, Cirrus Logic CS35L63 and CS48L32
Everest Semiconductor ES8375 and ES8389, Longsoon-1 AC'97
controllers, nVidia Tegra264, Richtek ALC203 and RT9123 and
Rockchip SAI controllers
HD-audio:
- Lots of cleanups of TAS2781 codec drivers
- A new HD-audio control bound via ACPI for Nvidia
- Support for Tegra264, Intel WCL, usual new codec quirks
USB-audio:
- Fix a race at removal of MIDI device
- Pioneer DJM-V10 support, Scarlett2 driver cleanups
Misc:
- Cleanups of deprecated PCI functions
- Removal of unused / dead function codes"

Below mentioned register sequence should be part of acp init
sequence.
1) Set ACP clock mux selection register to ACP_ACLK clock
source.
2) Enable ACP global interrupt enable register
3) Enable ACP error interrupt mask.
ACP reset sequence should contain code related to asserting
acp soft reset and release the soft reset.
Move the rest of the registers programming to acp init sequence.
