2026-10-12xfrm: espintcp: reorder operations within espintcp_init_skSabrina Dubroca
When enabled on a socket, espintcp sets the socket callbacks to its own before it has finished setting up its context and published it as icsk_ulp_data. Any one of those callbacks that gets called before will dereference a NULL icsk_ulp_data. Fix this by reording the operations, and add memory barriers to ensure callers will have a struct espintcp_ctx available. Add a few WRITE_ONCE/READ_ONCE too while we're there. 2024-04-01inet: preserve const qualifier in inet_csk()Eric Dumazet
We can change inet_csk() to propagate its argument const qualifier, thanks to container_of_const(). We have to fix few places that had mistakes, like tcp_bound_rto(). 2020-04-20xfrm: espintcp: save and call old ->sk_destructSabrina Dubroca
When ESP encapsulation is enabled on a TCP socket, I'm replacing the existing ->sk_destruct callback with espintcp_destruct. We still need to call the old callback to perform the other cleanups when the socket is destroyed. Save the old callback, and call it from espintcp_destruct. 2019-12-09xfrm: add espintcp (RFC 8229)Sabrina Dubroca
TCP encapsulation of IKE and IPsec messages (RFC 8229) is implemented as a TCP ULP, overriding in particular the sendmsg and recvmsg operations. A Stream Parser is used to extract messages out of the TCP stream using the first 2 bytes as length marker. Received IKE messages are put on "ike_queue", waiting to be dequeued by the custom recvmsg implementation. Received ESP messages are sent to XFRM, like with UDP encapsulation. Some of this code is taken from the original submission by Herbert Xu. Currently, only IPv4 is supported, like for UDP encapsulation.
