Formerly, the reset sequence would race with panfrost_mmu_as_put()
when tearing down a perfcnt session. On top of that, poking GPU
registers to program a perfcnt session or obtaining a dump might lead to
undefined behaviour when done at the same time a reset was ongoing.
Use the reset r/w semaphore when disabling and re-enabling perfcnt
configuration, and also in the sections inside the 'enable'and 'dump'
ioctls where device registers are being accessed.
On top of that, expand the DRM uAPI for the perfcnt DUMP operation
so that user space can be made aware of a reset having happened,
whether it succeeded or failed to restore the original configuration.
UM needs to know about this condition because counter data is inaccurate
after a reset, so the best approach might be simply to try again.
Finally, update driver uAPI documentation to explain the meaning of the
new perfcnt dump ioctl's state flags, and bump DRM driver minor number
to reflect the new DUMP IOCTL req field.

In order to avoid accessing HW register while a reset is ongoing, a
read/write semaphore that envelopes the reset sequence will help driver
entry points avoid racing with it. For now, the only such racy entry
point is the ioctl that returns the current GPU timestamp.

The GPU cache flush/invalidate operation is unnecessary. In the usual case,
before a perfcnt dump is requested, there will be no stale lines in GPU
caches for the sample BO's physmem pages, since their memory had not
recently been addressed by the GPU.
However, in the off-chance that the sample BO reuses memory that the GPU
had recently addressed and for which it contains stale lines in its caches,
there already was a FLUSH_PT command being issued as part of the buffer GPU
mapping procedure, so by the time panfrost_gem_open() comes back at perfcnt
session enable, stale GPU cache lines should've already been evicted.
In either case, forcing a GPU cache clean when enabling a new session makes
no difference, and removing it simplifies handling of the error path.

This will be of great help when testing potential races between the GPU
reset sequence and other parts of the code accessing HW registers.
We must also disable the reset work item rather than simply cancelling
it, to prevent the knob from triggering another reset when the device
is being removed.
At the moment, the only legitimate input value for the knob is '1'. This is
to allow for future inputs that would encode alternative reset scenarios
we'd want to trigger manually.

Ideally the probe() function will do as little as possible, and all device
initialisation and registration should happen inside the panfrost device
subsystem, just like it's done in Panthor. This also simplifies resource
unwinding in the error path.
Do the same thing for DRM driver remove, as in, sweep most of the action

Because the device must be in a position to accept jobs between the time
drm_dev_register() is called and autosuspend first kicks in, there's a very
narrow window inbetween during which jobs targeting the tiler buffer
object would time out, since the device's PM status is 'Active', but no MMU
interrupts were enabled at device initialisation time.

During device probe(), failure to do a PM get() will leave the usage_count
set to 0, which is the value assigned at device creation time. That means
when the autosuspend delay expires, runtime suspend callback won't be
invoked, so the device will remain powered on forever.
On top of that, failure to call PM put() during device unplug means
Panfrost device's PM usage_count increases monotonically for every new
module reload.
The outcome of both of the above meant that:
- Devfreq OPP transition notifications would be printed all the time,
even when no jobs are being submitted. This quickly fills the kernel
ring buffer with junk.
- Because MMU interrupts are only enabled when the device is reset,
the very first job targeting the tiler heap BO after device probe()
would always time out, since the driver's PM runtime resume callback
would not be invoked.
To fix the above:
- Manually adjust the PM refcnt at device probe and removal time.
- Ensure pm_runtime_dont_use_autosuspend is called in the wind-down path.
- Call pm_runtime_put_autosuspend() when device is ready to accept jobs

Gather all clock enables and disables into a single function to avoid

The device init function feels a bit cluttered with things that should be
done in the specific subsystems where those locks and lists are being
used. Same goes for module parameters, it's best to limit them to the
subsystems where they're relevant.
Then we can also discard panfrost_drv.h since the transparent_huge_page
doesn't need to be accessed elsewhere. We can also simplify the
creation of a mount point, because drm_gem_get_huge_mnt() would never
return NULL if drm_gem_huge_mnt_create() returns 0 when kernel is built

drm_timeout_abs_to_jiffies() began as a static helper inside the syncobj
wait implementation and was later exported in place, so that it could be
called by multiple drivers (e.g. panfrost, lima, tegra and accel
drivers). All of them reach it through drm_utils.h.
Give it a file of its own, so that timeout conversion helpers have a
home, which will be useful when we add new timeout handlers. Also create
a drm_timeout.h header to host all timeout-related helpers.
The function was moved to the new file as it is, including the use of
"signed long" as the return type. Note that the return and parameters
types should be reconsidered in the future to better represent the
non-negative nature of a timeout.
No functional change.

Nothing in suspend.h needs swap.h. However, many files indirectly
depend on some of swap.h's dependencies, so this is a large
cross-subsystem patch. Stats:
42 are missing includes of interrupt.h (the question of why swap.h
brings in interrupt.h remains unanswered).
10 missing includes of seq_file.h
5 missing includes of swap.h (obviously all files could have just added
swap.h, but I preferred to bring in a more minimal inclusion set)
3 missing includes of highmem.h
2 missing includes of device.h
2 missing includes of string_choices.h
1 missing include of cacheflush.h
1 missing include of dma-direction.h
1 missing include of kthread.h
1 missing include of pagemap.h
1 missing include of string_helpers.h
1 missing include of writeback.h
I tried to follow whatever conventions appeared to be in use for the
various subsystems I touched; for example I added string_choices.h to
drm_print.h instead of individually to each driver which used the
functions declared there.

This was done entirely with mindless brute force, using
git grep -l '\<k[vmz]*alloc_objs*(.*, GFP_KERNEL)' |
xargs sed -i 's/\(alloc_objs*(.*\), GFP_KERNEL)/\1)/'
to convert the new alloc_obj() users that had a simple GFP_KERNEL
argument to just drop that argument.
Note that due to the extreme simplicity of the scripting, any slightly
more complex cases spread over multiple lines would not be triggered:
they definitely exist, but this covers the vast bulk of the cases, and
the resulting diff is also then easier to check automatically.

Single allocations: kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...)

Array allocations: kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...)

Flex array allocations: kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...)

drm_gem_put_pages(), which we rely on for returning BO pages to shmem,
assume per-folio refcounting and not per-page. If we call
shmem_read_mapping_page() per-page, we break this assumption and leak
pages every time we get a huge page allocated.

RZ/G3E SoC is embedded with Mali-G52 GPU system. The system hangs after
STR in the following condition:
STR -> Wakeup from STR -> Unload panfrost using 'modprobe -r panfrost'.
Fix this issue by asserting/deasserting the reset during suspend/resume.
Rename the variable allwinner_h616_data->default_pm_rt_data for data
reuse and make it as generic GPU PM runtime data.

Will be used by the UMD to optimize CPU accesses to buffers
that are frequently read by the CPU, or on which the access
pattern makes non-cacheable mappings inefficient.
Mapping buffers CPU-cached implies taking care of the CPU
cache maintenance in the UMD, unless the GPU is IO coherent.

Introduce the 'panfrost.transparent_hugepage' boolean module parameter
(false by default). When the parameter is set to true, a new tmpfs
mountpoint is created and mounted using the 'huge=within_size'
option. It's then used at GEM object creation instead of the default
'shm_mnt' mountpoint in order to enable Transparent Hugepage (THP) for
the object (without having to rely on a system wide parameter).
v3:
- use huge tmpfs mountpoint in drm_device
v4:
- fix builds with CONFIG_TRANSPARENT_HUGEPAGE=n
- clean up mountpoint creation error handling
- print negative error value
v5:

- get rid of CONFIG_TRANSPARENT_HUGEPAGE ifdefs
v9:
- replace drm_gem_has_huge_tmp() by drm_gem_get_huge_tmp()

panfrost_job objects and also the more general JM (Job Manager) side of
