2023-07-11soc: imx: Move power-domain drivers to the genpd dirUlf Hansson
To simplify with maintenance let's move the imx power-domain drivers to the new genpd directory. Going forward, patches are intended to be managed through a separate git tree, according to MAINTAINERS. 2023-03-14soc: imx: imx8mp-blk-ctrl: Use dev_pm_domain_attach_by_nameJindong Yue
The genpd_dev_pm_attach_by_name() is not exported, following error occurs when building imx8mp-blk-ctrl as a module: ERROR: modpost: "genpd_dev_pm_attach_by_name" [drivers/soc/imx/imx8mp-blk-ctrl.ko] undefined! git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/soc/soc Pull ARM SoC driver updates from Arnd Bergmann: "As usual, there are lots of minor driver changes across SoC platforms from NXP, Amlogic, AMD Zynq, Mediatek, Qualcomm, Apple and Samsung. These usually add support for additional chip variations in existing drivers, but also add features or bugfixes. The SCMI firmware subsystem gains a unified raw userspace interface through debugfs, which can be used for validation purposes. 2023-01-30soc: imx: imx8mp-blk-ctrl: set HDMI LCDIF panic read hurry levelLucas Stach
Same as done for both LCDIF interfaces in the MEDIA domain, set the panic priority of the LCDIF instance in the HDMI domain to the maximium NoC priority of 7 to minimize chances of display underflows. 2023-01-01soc: imx: imx8mp-blk-ctrl: don't set power device nameLucas Stach
Setting the device name after it has been registered confuses the sysfs cleanup paths. This has already been fixed for the imx8m-blk-ctrl driver in b64b46fbaa1d ("Revert "soc: imx: imx8m-blk-ctrl: set power device name""), but the same problem exists in imx8mp-blk-ctrl. NXP internal information shows that the PHY refclk is gated by the GLOBAL_TX_PIX_CLK_EN bit, so to allow the PHY PLL to lock without the LCDIF being already active, tie this bit to the HDMI_TX_PHY power domain.
