2024-12-14crypto: x86 - remove assignments of 0 to cra_alignmaskEric Biggers
Struct fields are zero by default, so these lines of code have no effect. Remove them to reduce the number of matches that are found when grepping for cra_alignmask. Signed-off-by: Eric Biggers <ebiggers@google.com> Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
2022-12-02crypto: Prepare to move crypto_tfm_ctxHerbert Xu
The helper crypto_tfm_ctx is only used by the Crypto API algorithm code and should really be in algapi.h. However, for historical reasons many files relied on it to be in crypto.h. This patch changes those files to use algapi.h instead in prepartion for a move. Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
2022-04-08crypto: x86 - eliminate anonymous module_init & module_exitRandy Dunlap
Eliminate anonymous module_init() and module_exit(), which can lead to confusion or ambiguity when reading System.map, crashes/oops/bugs, or an initcall_debug log. Give each of these init and exit functions unique driver-specific names to eliminate the anonymous names. Example 1: (System.map) ffffffff832fc78c t init ffffffff832fc79e t init ffffffff832fc8f8 t init Example 2: (initcall_debug log) calling init+0x0/0x12 @ 1 initcall init+0x0/0x12 returned 0 after 15 usecs calling init+0x0/0x60 @ 1 initcall init+0x0/0x60 returned 0 after 2 usecs calling init+0x0/0x9a @ 1 initcall init+0x0/0x9a returned 0 after 74 usecs Fixes: 64b94ceae8c1 ("crypto: blowfish - add x86_64 assembly implementation") Fixes: 676a38046f4f ("crypto: camellia-x86_64 - module init/exit functions should be static") Fixes: 0b95ec56ae19 ("crypto: camellia - add assembler implementation for x86_64") Fixes: 56d76c96a9f3 ("crypto: serpent - add AVX2/x86_64 assembler implementation of serpent cipher") Fixes: b9f535ffe38f ("[CRYPTO] twofish: i586 assembly version") Fixes: ff0a70fe0536 ("crypto: twofish-x86_64-3way - module init/exit functions should be static") Fixes: 8280daad436e ("crypto: twofish - add 3-way parallel x86_64 assembler implemention") Signed-off-by: Randy Dunlap <rdunlap@infradead.org> Cc: Jussi Kivilinna <jussi.kivilinna@mbnet.fi> Cc: Joachim Fritschi <jfritschi@freenet.de> Cc: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au> Cc: "David S. 2014-11-24crypto: prefix module autoloading with "crypto-"Kees Cook
This prefixes all crypto module loading with "crypto-" so we never run the risk of exposing module auto-loading to userspace via a crypto API, as demonstrated by Mathias Krause: https://lkml.org/lkml/2013/3/4/70 Signed-off-by: Kees Cook <keescook@chromium.org> Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
2012-08-01crypto: arch/x86 - cleanup - remove unneeded crypto_alg.cra_list initializationsJussi Kivilinna
Initialization of cra_list is currently mixed, most ciphers initialize this field and most shashes do not. Initialization however is not needed at all since cra_list is initialized/overwritten in __crypto_register_alg() with list_add(). Therefore perform cleanup to remove all unneeded initializations of this field in 'arch/x86/crypto/'. 2012-02-25crypto: twofish-x86_64/i586 - set alignmask to zeroJussi Kivilinna
x86 has fast unaligned accesses, so twofish-x86_64/i586 does not need to enforce alignment. Signed-off-by: Jussi Kivilinna <jussi.kivilinna@mbnet.fi> Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
2011-10-21crypto: twofish-x86-asm - make assembler functions use twofish_ctx instead ↵Jussi Kivilinna
of crypto_tfm This needed by 3-way twofish patch to be able to easily use one block assembler functions. As glue code is shared between i586/x86_64 apply change to i586 assembler too. Also export assembler functions for 3-way parallel twofish module.
