From 47be03a28cc6c80e3aa2b3e8ed6d960ff0c5c0af Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Amerigo Wang Date: Fri, 10 Aug 2012 01:24:37 +0000 Subject: netpoll: use GFP_ATOMIC in slave_enable_netpoll() and __netpoll_setup() slave_enable_netpoll() and __netpoll_setup() may be called with read_lock() held, so should use GFP_ATOMIC to allocate memory. Eric suggested to pass gfp flags to __netpoll_setup(). Cc: Eric Dumazet Cc: "David S. Miller" Reported-by: Dan Carpenter Signed-off-by: Eric Dumazet Signed-off-by: Cong Wang Signed-off-by: David S. It is thus read again on one of the sockets of the fanout group. This result in a loop for software which generate packets when receiving one. This retransmission is not the intended behavior: a fanout group must behave like a single socket. The packet should not be transmitted on a socket if it originates from a socket belonging to the same fanout group. This patch fixes the issue by changing the transmission check to take fanout group info account. Reported-by: Aleksandr Kotov Signed-off-by: Eric Leblond Signed-off-by: David S.
