From f04a9d8adf766c480353c0f2427e641251c9b059 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Rajkumar Kasirajan Date: Wed, 30 May 2012 16:32:37 +0530 Subject: mfd: ab8500-sysctrl: Update correct turn on status In L9540, turn_on_status register is not updated correctly if the device is rebooted with AC/USB charger connected. Due to this, the device boots android instead of entering into charge only mode. Read the AC/USB status register to detect the charger presence and update the turn on status manually. When USB charging starts, if the Vbattrue is below than SW cut off voltage, power path and pre-charge should be enabled. If Vbattrue is higher than SW cut off voltage, power path and pre-charge should be disabled. This is to make sure full current to battery charge.
