2014-08-03sunrpc: remove __rcu annotation from struct gss_cl_ctx->gc_gss_ctxJeff Layton
Commit 5b22216e11f7 (nfs: __rcu annotations) added a __rcu annotation to the gc_gss_ctx field. I see no rationale for adding that though, as that field does not seem to be managed via RCU at all. 2014-07-12auth_gss: fetch the acceptor name out of the downcallJeff Layton
If rpc.gssd sends us an acceptor name string trailing the context token, stash it as part of the context. Signed-off-by: Jeff Layton <jlayton@poochiereds.net> Signed-off-by: Trond Myklebust <trond.myklebust@primarydata.com>
2012-01-05SUNRPC: Clean up the RPCSEC_GSS service ticket requestsTrond Myklebust
Instead of hacking specific service names into gss_encode_v1_msg, we should just allow the caller to specify the service name explicitly. Signed-off-by: Trond Myklebust <Trond.Myklebust@netapp.com> Acked-by: J. Bruce Fields <bfields@redhat.com>

2010-05-14SUNRPC: Don't spam gssd with upcall requests when the kerberos key expiredTrond Myklebust
Now that the rpc.gssd daemon can explicitly tell us that the key expired, we should cache that information to avoid spamming gssd. Signed-off-by: Trond Myklebust <Trond.Myklebust@netapp.com>

2008-04-19NFSv4: Reintroduce machine credsTrond Myklebust
We need to try to ensure that we always use the same credentials whenever we re-establish the clientid on the server. If not, the server won't recognise that we're the same client, and so may not allow us to recover state. Signed-off-by: Trond Myklebust <Trond.Myklebust@netapp.com>

2006-12-06rpc: gss: eliminate print_hexl()'sJ. Bruce Fields
Dumping all this data to the logs is wasteful (even when debugging is turned off), and creates too much output to be useful when it's turned on. Fix a minor style bug or two while we're at it. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
