2014-06-03mfd: twl6040: Move register patching earlier in probePeter Ujfalusi
Make sure that we patch the ACCCTL register as the first thing when the driver loads, thus configuring I2C fast mode and i2c access for dual access registers. Signed-off-by: Peter Ujfalusi <peter.ujfalusi@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
2014-06-03mfd: twl6040: Optional clk32k clock handlingPeter Ujfalusi
In certain boards the source for the clk32k clock can be gated. In these boards the clk32k clock can be provided to the driver and it is going to be enabled/disabled when it is needed. If the clk32k clock is not provided the driver will assume that it is always running. Signed-off-by: Peter Ujfalusi <peter.ujfalusi@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
2014-06-03mfd: twl6040: Select i2c fast mode as default with regmap patchPeter Ujfalusi
All boards using twl6040 configures the i2c bus to 400KHz. While twl6040's defaults to normal mode (100KHz). So far twl6040 has no problem with i2c communication in this configuration it is safer to select fast i2c mode. Signed-off-by: Peter Ujfalusi <peter.ujfalusi@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
2014-06-03mfd: twl6040: Clear the interrupt ID register before requesting IRQPeter Ujfalusi
If for some reason the boot loader enabled the audpwron GPIO we will have pending IRQs to be handled. This seams to break twl6040 for some reason leading to non working i2c communication (i2c timeouts). Clearing the INTID register after we requested the audpwron GPIO (and set it to low) will ensure that the chip will operate normally in this case as well. Signed-off-by: Peter Ujfalusi <peter.ujfalusi@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
2014-06-03mfd: core: Don't use devres functions before device is addedCharles Keepax
The supply aliases for the MFD devices were being added using devres but the device hasn't been added at this point and as such we can't use devres. The MFD already has a function that removes devices this patch uses the non-devres versions of the supply alias functions and adds an unregister in mfd_remove_devices_fn. 2014-06-03mfd: rdc321x: Fix off-by-one for ngpio settingAxel Lin
The valid gpio is GPIO0 ~ GPIO58, so ngpio should be 59. This patch also renames RDC321X_MAX_GPIO to RDC321X_NUM_GPIO because it actually means the number of available GPIOs. 2014-06-03mfd/rtc: s5m: Do not allocate RTC I2C dummy and regmap for unsupported chipsetsKrzysztof Kozlowski
The rtc-s5m driver does not support all of S2M and S5M chipsets supported by main MFD sec-core driver. For such chipsets unsupported by rtc-s5m, the MFD sec-core driver initialized regmap with default config. This config in such cases wouldn't work at all. The main MFD sec-core driver shouldn't initialize regmap for child drivers which is not used by them and even not valid. Move the allocation of RTC I2C dummy device and initialization of RTC regmap from main MFD sec-core driver to the rtc-s5m driver. The rtc-s5m driver will use proper regmap config for supported devices. 2014-06-03mfd: mc13xxx-core: Initialize the lock prior to using itFabio Estevam
After request_threaded_irq() is called there is a chance that an interrupt may occur before the 'mc13xxx->lock' is initialized, which will trigger a kernel oops. In order to prevent that, move the initialization of 'mc13xxx->lock' prior to requesting the interrupts. 2014-05-19ahci: imx: PLL clock needs 100us to settle downShawn Guo
The commit e783c51 (ahci: imx: software workaround for phy reset issue in resume) calls imx_sata_phy_reset() to reset phy immediately after SATA MPLL is enabled. It seems working fine mostly, but fails in some case as below. ... ahci-imx 2200000.sata: failed to reset phy: -110 ahci-imx: probe of 2200000.sata failed with error -110 After talking to the designer, we learnt that when enabling i.MX6Q SATA MPLL, we need to wait 100us for it to settle down for safety. Add this required delay to fix above failure. Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@freescale.com> Tested-by: Fabio Estevam <fabio.estevam@freescale.com> Signed-off-by: Tejun Heo <tj@kernel.org>
2014-05-19PCI: Wrong register used to check pending trafficGavin Shan
The incorrect register offset is passed to pci_wait_for_pending(), which is caused by commit 157e876ffe ("PCI: Add pci_wait_for_pending() (refactor pci_wait_for_pending_transaction())"). 2014-05-17target: fix memory leak on XCOPYMikulas Patocka
On each processed XCOPY command, two "kmalloc-512" memory objects are leaked. These represent two allocations of struct xcopy_pt_cmd in target_core_xcopy.c. The reason for the memory leak is that the cmd_kref field is not initialized (thus, it is zero because the allocations were done with kzalloc). When we decrement zero kref in target_put_sess_cmd, the result is not zero, thus target_release_cmd_kref is not called. This patch fixes the bug by moving kref initialization from target_get_sess_cmd to transport_init_se_cmd (this function is called from target_core_xcopy.c, so it will correctly initialize cmd_kref). It can be easily verified that all code that calls target_get_sess_cmd also calls transport_init_se_cmd earlier, thus moving kref_init shouldn't introduce any new problems. Commit ee1de406ba6eb1 ("random: simplify accounting logic") simplified things too much, in that it allows the following to trigger an overflow that results in a BUG_ON crash: dd if=/dev/urandom of=/dev/zero bs=67108707 count=1 Thanks to Peter Zihlstra for discovering the crash, and Hannes Frederic for analyizing the root cause. 2014-05-15iscsi-target: Disable Immediate + Unsolicited Data with ISER ProtectionNicholas Bellinger
This patch explicitly disables Immediate + Unsolicited Data for ISER connections during login in iscsi_login_zero_tsih_s2() when protection has been enabled for the session by the underlying hardware. This is currently required because protection / signature memory regions (MRs) expect T10 PI to occur on RDMA READs + RDMA WRITEs transfers, and not on a immediate data payload associated with ISCSI_OP_SCSI_CMD, or unsolicited data-out associated with a ISCSI_OP_SCSI_DATA_OUT. v2 changes: - Add TARGET_PROT_DOUT_INSERT check (Sagi) - Add pr_debug noisemaker (Sagi) - Add goto to avoid early return from MRDSL check (nab) Cc: Sagi Grimberg <sagig@mellanox.com> Cc: Or Gerlitz <ogerlitz@mellanox.com> Signed-off-by: Nicholas Bellinger <nab@linux-iscsi.org>
