2023-10-19powerpc/ptdump: Display _PAGE_READ and _PAGE_WRITEChristophe Leroy
Instead of always displaying either 'rw' or 'r ' depending on _PAGE_RW, display 'r' or ' ' for _PAGE_READ and 'w' or ' ' for _PAGE_WRITE. 2023-10-19powerpc: Rely on address instead of pte_user()Christophe Leroy
pte_user() may return 'false' when a user page is PAGE_NONE. In that case it is still a user page and needs to be handled as such. So use is_kernel_addr() instead. And remove "user" text from ptdump as ptdump only dumps kernel tables. Note: no change done for book3s/64 which still has it 'priviledge' bit. 2022-06-29powerpc/ptdump: Fix display of RW pages on FSL_BOOK3EChristophe Leroy
On FSL_BOOK3E, _PAGE_RW is defined with two bits, one for user and one for supervisor. As soon as one of the two bits is set, the page has to be display as RW. But the way it is implemented today requires both bits to be set in order to display it as RW. Instead of display RW when _PAGE_RW bits are set and R otherwise, reverse the logic and display R when _PAGE_RW bits are all 0 and RW otherwise. This change has no impact on other platforms as _PAGE_RW is a single bit on all of them. 2021-08-25powerpc/ptdump: Reduce level numbers by 1 in note_page() and add p4d levelChristophe Leroy
Do the same as commit f8f0d0b6fa20 ("mm: ptdump: reduce level numbers by 1 in note_page()") and add missing p4d level. This will align powerpc to the users of generic ptdump. 2020-06-09mm: introduce include/linux/pgtable.hMike Rapoport
The include/linux/pgtable.h is going to be the home of generic page table manipulation functions. Start with moving asm-generic/pgtable.h to include/linux/pgtable.h and make the latter include asm/pgtable.h. 2020-05-26powerpc/ptdump: Add _PAGE_COHERENT flagChristophe Leroy
For platforms using shared.c (4xx, Book3e, Book3s/32), also handle the _PAGE_COHERENT flag which corresponds to the M bit of the WIMG flags. 2019-02-22powerpc: Move page table dump files in a dedicated subdirectoryChristophe Leroy
This patch moves the files related to page table dump in a dedicated subdirectory. The purpose is to clean a bit arch/powerpc/mm by regrouping multiple files handling a dedicated function.
