2016-03-11staging: lustre: fix aligments in lnet selftestJames Simmons
Some aligment issues were not caught by checkpatch. We address them here. Some of the alignment issues caused greater than 80 character checkpatch issues. Some changes were done to just make the code more readable and to match our production code. 2016-03-11staging: speakup: Replace del_timer with del_timer_syncAmitoj Kaur Chawla
Use del_timer_sync to ensure timer is stopped on all CPUs before the driver exists and the timer should not run when the module is being removed. Since the timer is not called from an interrupt context, this change is safe and will not cause deadlock. Doubly linked lists which are iterated using list_empty and list_entry macros have been replaced with list_for_each_entry_safe macro. This makes the iteration simpler and more readable. 2016-03-11staging: iio: adc: Replace of_iomap() with devm_ioremap_resource()Amitoj Kaur Chawla
The adc driver uses of_iomap() which doesn't request the resource and isn't device managed so error handling is needed. of_iomap() is mainly used in cases where there is no driver or struct device so a switch to devm_ functions is required. This patch switches to use devm_ioremap_resource() instead which automatically requests the resource and is freed when the driver detaches. Removed the error handling to unmap I/O registers i.e. iounmap() in probe and remove functions of this driver and consequently removed an unnecessary label.
