Linux-2.6.12-rc2v2.6.12-rc2
Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!

+config CPU_FREQ
+ bool "CPU Frequency scaling"
+ help
+ CPU Frequency scaling allows you to change the clock speed of
+ CPUs on the fly. This is a nice method to save power, because
+ the lower the CPU clock speed, the less power the CPU consumes.
+
+ Note that this driver doesn't automatically change the CPU
+ clock speed, you need to either enable a dynamic cpufreq governor
+ (see below) after boot, or use a userspace tool.
+
+ For details, take a look at <file:Documentation/cpu-freq>.

+ 'ondemand' - This driver adds a dynamic cpufreq policy governor.
