Add NL80211_NAN_CONF_INSTANT_COMM flag to let user space request that
the NAN synchronization logic starts Instant Communication (IC) as
defined in Chapter 13 of the Wi-Fi Aware Specification v4.0.
Add NL80211_NAN_CAPA_INSTANT_COMM for drivers to advertise it. The
capability requires configurable synchronization support, and IC
requests are rejected if it isn't advertised.
When IC is enabled, user space must also configure the discovery
beacon interval. The IC schedule is expected to be configured
by user space.

The "twt_protected" flag in the link/bss_conf information
really isn't right since this is negotiated via RSNX and
therefore cannot differ per link. Move it to be a per-STA
indication and also derive it from the new assoc request
flag since that gets used with security profile.

Protected TWT support is indicated in RSNX, but RSNX may
be used from security profile now, and not be present in
the association response frame, so the logic in mac80211
to determine it doesn't/won't really work.
Add a flag for wpa_supplicant to indicate if protected
TWT is supported in the association, it can easily check
this based on the RSNX data that was used.

Type-check element finding functions and element iteration macros,
so that when constants are given for the (extended) ID they must
be from the appropriate enum, otherwise an enum compare compiler
warning will trigger.
Two places are using element iteration for subelements, but don't
have the outer element as a struct element, so they need casts to
avoid the warning now, but overall this will flag issues like the
one in the previous commit.

An skb queued in a qdisc can outlive the tunnel it references
through a raw pointer in skb->cb. For example, with igmp_qrv set
to 1 on the relay a tunnel lives for 135s, so a netem delay of
180s on the amt device outlives it; when the tunnel expires and is
freed, the subsequent dequeue triggers a use-after-free in
amt_dev_xmit().
BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in amt_dev_xmit+0x2763/0x2e20

amt_send_igmp_gq() and amt_send_mld_gq() are only called from
amt_request_handler(), inside the rcu_read_lock_bh() section of
amt_rcv(). amt_request_handler() already has the tunnel the query is
for: it found or created it inside that section. Queuing the query with
dev_queue_xmit() only leads back into amt_dev_xmit(), which strips the
Ethernet header and calls amt_send_membership_query() for that tunnel.
Make that call directly from the two senders instead, the same way
amt_send_advertisement() transmits from the receive path. The query
never waits in a qdisc, the tunnel is only dereferenced inside the
RCU section that found or created it, and nothing is stored in
skb->cb, so no lookup or refcount is needed. Remove the query branch
of amt_dev_xmit(), amt_skb_cb() and struct amt_skb_cb, which have no
users left.
Behaviour changes:
- The relay's own General Queries no longer pass through the amt
device's egress path: its qdisc, tc egress (clsact/tcx), the
netfilter egress hook and packet taps. They are still visible as
UDP on the underlay.
- A query that is sent successfully is no longer counted as
tx_dropped. The old query branch left through the unlock label,
which counted every sent query as dropped.
- A query that reaches amt_dev_xmit() on a relay from elsewhere,
such as a userspace querier, is now dropped at the IGMP/MLD type
switch. Before, it trusted whatever skb->cb held, and a NULL
tunnel hit the WARN_ON(1).

Commit d4fb6514ff8e ("can: use skb hash instead of private variable in
headroom") moved the per-skb unique identifier used for raw_rcv()
duplicate detection into skb->hash.
With RPS enabled, get_rps_cpu() calls skb_get_hash() before the frame
reaches the CAN subsystem. Since CAN skbs have no L3/L4 headers, the
flow dissector assigns every CAN frame the same non-zero software
hash. can_set_skb_uid() only generated a new identifier when
skb->hash was 0, so it kept this constant hash. When the SLAB
allocator later reused the same skb address, raw_rcv() mistook the
next legitimate frame for a duplicate and dropped it.
Fix this by storing the CAN UID in the CAN skb extension
(struct can_skb_ext::can_skb_uid) instead of skb->hash, decoupling it
from any hash the network stack may compute. can_set_skb_uid() keeps
its "assign only if unset" behaviour, which preserves UIDs set before
transmission (e.g. by isotp to identify echo frames) across the local
loopback path.
Frames whose extension is shared with another clone (e.g. via tc mirred
or netem duplicate) are given a private extension copy before the UID
is assigned, so that independently received skb clones from real CAN
interfaces (can_skb_uid = 0) don't end up with the same UID.
The limitation that tc mirred/netem skb duplicates might be dropped in
raw_rcv for looped back isotp echo frame skbs is accepted. There is no
valid use-case for tc mirred or netem together with isotp which is not
capable to operate on different CAN interfaces simultaneously.
For routing and modifying CAN frames together with isotp use can-gw.
can-gw and vxcan additionally clear the UID of forwarded/duplicated
frames so each newly routed frame gets its own unique identifier.

seg6_hmac_validate_skb() derived the SRH from skb_transport_header().
That only holds while the two coincide, which is not true on the
seg6_local input path.
ip6_rcv_core() leaves the transport header just past the IPv6 header.
A Hop-by-Hop options header is consumed before the route lookup and
advances it, but a Destination Options header is not: the seg6_local
lwtunnel is entered through an input redirect from the route lookup,
which bypasses the extension header handlers. The transport header
then still points at the Destination Options header while
seg6_get_srh() has located the real SRH further down the chain.
The HMAC is therefore computed over the Destination Options header,
and a packet carrying a valid HMAC TLV is dropped when
seg6_require_hmac is set. Such a packet is legitimate: RFC 8200 allows
Destination Options before a routing header, and get_srh() has walked
the header chain since commit 5829d70b0b6c ("ipv6: sr: fix get_srh() to
comply with IPv6 standard "RFC 8200"").
With a Fragment or an Authentication header in front of the SRH, the
same mistake also reads past the data pulled by seg6_get_srh(). This
happens before seg6_require_hmac is read, so the default configuration
is affected.
Reproduce by giving a node a seg6local End SID with
net.ipv6.conf.<dev>.seg6_require_hmac=1 and a key installed with
"ip sr hmac set <keyid> sha1", then sending
IPv6 -> Destination Options -> SRH (carrying a valid HMAC TLV) -> payload
to that SID: it is dropped, while the same packet without the
Destination Options header passes.

Netfilter/IPVS fixes for net
The following batch contains Netfilter fixes for net. This batch
fixes crashes as recent feature regression, one of the due to a
dependency that has been pulled into -stable:
1) Expand existing ipset fix for bitmap sets to disallow comments
updates from kernel-side adds, from Florian Westphal.
2) Drop flowtable reference if nf_ct_netns_get() fails, otherwise
flowtable cannot ever be removed, from Aohan Mei.
3) nft_rbtree GC should collect end elements that contained in
this transaction batch, new or deleted elements are never
expired. From Weiming Shi.
4) Restrict nf_nat_bpf so it does not set unknown NF_NAT_MANIP_*
values, from Fernando F. Mancera.
5) Flowtable GC must skip flows that are pending hardware updates,
generalize the PENDING flag and use it to inhibit GC.
6) Restore flowtable with ieee80211 which broke due to a relatively
recent commit, which was pulled in by -stable, causing a regression
in 6.18 kernels.
And the following IPVS fixes:
1) Fix accounting of cache entries in IPVS LBLC for destinations,
which eventually fills up the table and trigger recurrent
resizing, from Julian Anastasov.
2) Limit IPVS cache growth for LBLCR and LBLC schedulers,
from Zhiling Zou.
3) Restrict IP_VS_CONN_F_ONE_PACKET for normal connections,
do not allow to use it with templates. Also from Julian.
4) Sanitize flags in IPVS sync messages received in the backup.
From Julian Anastasov.

do_recvmmsg() and getsockopt(SO_ERROR) call sock_error() without the
socket lock. sock_error() clears sk_err with xchg(), which races with
unmarked loads of the same field.
KCSAN reported the unmarked peek in tcp_recv_should_stop(). Annotate
that helper and the other send-side peeks with READ_ONCE().
On the no-data recv and splice paths, if (sk_err) followed by
sock_error() and an unconditional break can return 0 after another
thread consumes the error. Call sock_error() once and only stop when
it returns a non-zero error.
tcp_bpf_sendmsg() read sk_err twice; fold those unmarked loads into
one READ_ONCE() and use that value as the returned errno. The field
is still not consumed.
MPTCP is handled in the next patch.

Nothing in tree registers the type 1 / type 2 packet handlers or the
station handler any more, and nothing looks at the socket hashes
hanging off struct llc_sap. The two SAPs opened in tree - SNAP, and STP
for the bridge's BPDUs and GARP's PDUs - receive through the per-SAP
rcv_func(), so llc_rcv() boils down to a SAP lookup and a call.
llc_sap_list becomes static and five exports go away with all this; the
llc2 module out of tree has been reworked to open its own SAPs.
Frames with a NULL DSAP used to be handed to the station handler
before the SAP lookup. They take the normal path now, meaning they get
dropped unless something registers SAP 0.
struct llc_sap is down to 48 bytes on 64-bit from over a kilobyte,
which also moves its GFP_ATOMIC allocation from kmalloc-2k to
kmalloc-64. The two 64-entry socket hashes are the bulk of it, and the
address it carried is now just the SAP number - nothing has read the
MAC half since the socket layer left.
llc_pdu.h keeps only what its remaining users need, plus LLC_PDU_RSP to
document the one argument which can take it. That takes out the type 2
(I and S format, FRMR) definitions, the XID and TEST builders with
their constants - the kernel neither sends nor answers either any more
- the SAP address defines, the field accessors, and the prototypes of
the llc_pdu.c helpers which went out of tree with the rest of LLC2.
With the I and S formats gone llc_pdu_header_init() has one PDU type
left, so drop the argument.

802.2 LLC is only used in tree by protocols which need the
connectionless type 1 subset: STP, which carries the bridge's BPDUs,
GARP, which sends its own UI PDUs, and SNAP. The llc2 module on top of
the core - the type 2 connection state machine, the type 1 SAP state
machine, the station component and the PF_LLC socket family - has no
in-kernel users and nobody who can test it; what we get instead is a
slow trickle of drive-by fixes.
There was a recent patch from Ernestas Kulik indicating potential
real life use, but it was new/experimental and that person is
not responding to off-list pings.
Let LLC2 follow AX.25, hamradio and AppleTalk out of the Linux tree.
We will maintain the code at: github.com/linux-netdev/mod-orphan
for anyone interested in playing with it.
PF_LLC goes in full, both the class two SOCK_STREAM and the class one
SOCK_DGRAM half, and so do /proc/net/llc/ and /proc/sys/net/llc/. Note
that the kernel also stops answering XID and TEST commands, addressed
to a SAP or to the station - those are type 1, but they lived in the
module, and they got answered whether or not any socket was open.
Nothing in tree asks for them; what the core keeps is SAP registration
and the UI path the in-tree users need.
Retain the uAPI for now, like we did for AppleTalk. Only the socket ABI
half of it is vestigial: STP, GARP, the bridge and openvswitch use the
SAP numbers it defines. Cleaning up what the core no longer needs
follows in the next patch.

mvneta_swbm_add_rx_fragment() sets XDP_FLAGS_FRAGS_PF_MEMALLOC on the
xdp_buff when a fragment page is a pfmemalloc one (page under memory
pressure). The xdp_buff is reused for the next frame, but only the
XDP_FLAGS_HAS_FRAGS bit was cleared at frame start, so the pfmemalloc
bit leaked from one frame into the following ones. mvneta_swbm_build_skb()
propagates the flag to skb->pfmemalloc through xdp_update_skb_frags_info(),
so the skb of a subsequent fragmented frame could be wrongly marked as
pfmemalloc even if none of its pages are under pressure.
Clear all the xdp_buff flags in mvneta_swbm_rx_frame(), which is invoked
for each new frame, instead of just the XDP_FLAGS_HAS_FRAGS bit.

Memory-provider queue configuration is validated when the provider is

Keep configured RX ring depths in netdev_config and stage proposed

must initialize every RX depth before registering the netdev. Stored
values override callback defaults, including when zero.
The callback receives a rendered configuration rather than a queue ID.
Validation should depend on the configuration, not queue identity.
Checking defaults also covers the case where every queue has a
memory-provider override.
Drivers may normalize ring depths when applying them. Require the
validation callback to use the same normalization. Drivers must report
the applied depths through the ethtool_ringparam argument so the core
records the result.
Use the same transaction for ioctl and netlink. Drivers without
ndo_validate_qcfg skip the new validation.

Rename NF_FLOW_HW_PENDING to NF_FLOW_PENDING and use it to inhibit the
flowtable GC worker until pending hw offload work has been completed.
Apparently, nf_flow_offload_stats() can schedule work to retrieve stats
while the flow is being removed by GC.
And this bit can also be used in a follow up patch to disable GC until
the flow has been fully added in both directions.
Revert the reordering done in commit d644b23afe1e ("netfilter:
flowtable: publish HW_DEAD after worker is done") to prevent a race
between GC and hw offload handler.

skbedit can set skb->queue_mapping and raise the per-CPU skip_txqueue
flag so __dev_queue_xmit() honours the mapping. __dev_queue_xmit()
cleared the flag before sch_handle_egress() and only read it afterwards,
so the flag was not confined to the xmit that set it: a nested xmit
(mirred redirect or mirror, or a drop after skbedit) could set the flag
and the outer xmit would consume it for an skb that never went through
skbedit.
A forwarded packet still carries the ingress NIC's rx_queue + 1 in
skb->queue_mapping, so the outer device then indexes its tx queue state
with that stale value. Taprio's child array q->qdiscs[] is sized to the
device's queue count, so taprio_enqueue() indexes past its allocation
and dereferences the result as a struct Qdisc *.
We (ab)use the skb->nf_skip_egress which means "skip netfilter egress
for this packet" to tag to "am I in tc egress?". Despite the overload
I dont see it as a conflict since the marker is set only around the
single sch_handle_egress() call and ingress path is guarded by
tc_at_ingress.
I will send a followup(net-next) patch once this hits net-next to
rename the skb->nf_skip_egress bit/flag to skb->skip_egress
Arm the flag only from the egress classifier that can use it: raise
skip_txqueue from tcf_skbedit_act() only when it runs inside
sch_handle_egress(), thanks to skb->nf_skip_egress. An egress qdisc
classifier runs in q->enqueue(), after the tx queue has been picked,
so a mapping it sets cannot affect the current packet; arming the flag
there only pollutes it for a later xmit. Then own the flag for the xmit
frame the egress hook runs in: save the incoming value and clear it just
before sch_handle_egress(), and restore it after the hook - on the
consumed (drop) path, or, in the same call that reads it, on the
surviving path. The save and the restores stay inside the
egress_needed_key static branch, so a packet pays for them only when
egress hooks are active (2f1e85b1aee4).
Store the value netdev_cap_txqueue() selected back into skb->queue_mapping
in netdev_tx_queue_mapping(), as netdev_core_pick_tx() already does, so
the skip_txqueue path never hands a later reader on the xmit path a
mapping the device cannot serve. A store made still later in the same
frame, by a tc BPF program attached to a transmit qdisc, is outside this
path and is not re-capped; a separate followup will resolve that path.
netdev_xmit_skip_txqueue() returns the previous flag value so the
save-and-clear is one call, and a no-op stub is provided when
CONFIG_NET_EGRESS is disabled. skb->nf_skip_egress is compiled under
CONFIG_NET_EGRESS rather than CONFIG_NETFILTER_SKIP_EGRESS, so
skb_at_tc_egress() is valid whenever the egress path is built.
A local user in a network namespace can redirect a packet from a device
with more TX queues to one with fewer after setting a mapping valid only
on the larger device. That reaches these reads and, under KASAN, faults
with "slab-out-of-bounds in taprio_enqueue".
Conditions to recreate the bug: the report's own trigger is a local user
with CAP_NET_ADMIN in a network namespace, so no eBPF program is needed.
With CONFIG_NET_SCH_TAPRIO=y, CONFIG_NET_ACT_SKBEDIT=y,
CONFIG_NET_ACT_MIRRED=y, CONFIG_NET_CLS_MATCHALL=y,
CONFIG_NET_SCH_PRIO=y and KASAN enabled, create qa (3 queues), qb
(2 queues) and qc (1 queue) as dummy devices; put a taprio root on qb
(num_tc 1, queues 2@0) and clsact on all three; then add an egress
matchall filter on every device. On qa: "action skbedit queue_mapping 2
pipe action mirred egress redirect dev qb". On qb: "action mirred egress
mirror dev qc". On qc: "action skbedit queue_mapping 0 pipe". Send one
packet out qa. qc's skbedit sets the flag while qb's outer xmit is in
flight; without the fix qb consumes it and reads its two-entry taprio
child array with the forwarded packet's stale mapping. A qc whose
skbedit is instead installed in a transmit-qdisc classifier (a matchall
filter on the qc root qdisc) reaches the same code path the same way
without the fix.
Testing: on a KASAN build with panic_on_warn=1 the unfixed kernel panics
with "BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in taprio_enqueue", a read 0 bytes
past a 16-byte taprio_init() allocation, for the clsact-setter and the
transmit-qdisc-classifier reproducers and for a clsact skbedit-then-tc-BPF
store; the fixed kernel runs all three with no report, and the BPF store
variant additionally shows the expected "selects TX queue" clamp notice
from the write-back.

An RFCOMM connect() issued while a BR/EDR link is being authenticated
makes lockdep report a circular dependency, and the reported cycle is a
real AB/BA between rfcomm_mutex and hdev->lock.
rfcomm_security_cfm() is called from the HCI event path, which already
holds hdev->lock:
hci_rx_work()
hci_event_packet()
hci_cc_read_enc_key_size() [hdev->lock]
hci_encrypt_cfm() [hci_cb_list_lock]
rfcomm_security_cfm() [rfcomm_mutex]
while an RFCOMM connect() from userspace takes the same two locks the
other way round:
rfcomm_sock_connect()
rfcomm_dlc_open() [rfcomm_mutex]
__rfcomm_dlc_open()
rfcomm_session_create()
kernel_connect()
l2cap_sock_connect()
l2cap_chan_connect() [hdev->lock]
WARNING: possible circular locking dependency detected

hci_cb_list_lock, at: hci_cc_read_enc_key_size+0x1d2/0xcc0
Chain exists of:
rfcomm_mutex --> &hdev->lock --> hci_cb_list_lock
hci_auth_complete_evt() and hci_encrypt_change_evt() reach the callback
the same way.
Both orders have to be seen in the same boot, which is why a BR/EDR
connection alone is not enough to show it: a session set up by the
remote side is created by rfcomm_accept_connection() in krfcommd, which
calls kernel_accept() and never takes hdev->lock under rfcomm_mutex.
Connecting a device that authenticates and encrypts the link and then
calling connect() on an RFCOMM socket towards any address - the connect
does not have to succeed, the order is recorded before the page timeout
- reports it every time.
Only the session socket has to be connected with the lock held, and it
does not: nothing else can see the socket before it is put on the
session list. So connect it first and take rfcomm_mutex afterwards,
which removes the rfcomm_mutex -> hdev->lock order for good, rather
than keeping the HCI event path out of rfcomm_mutex.
rfcomm_session_create() becomes rfcomm_session_connect(), which returns
the connected socket without touching the session list, and
rfcomm_dlc_open() adds the session once it holds the lock again. If
another opener added a session for the same pair while this socket was
connecting, that session is used and this socket is dropped.
__rfcomm_dlc_open() now takes the session it should use, and its state
check runs after the lock is re-acquired, so a DLC that was opened or
closed in the meantime is still handled.
Over an existing ACL link the connection can complete before the
session reaches the list, and the wakeup from the socket callback is
then lost, so krfcommd is woken once the session is visible.
Connecting without the lock opens a window in which the socket can be
closed. The DLC is not on a session yet, so rfcomm_dlc_close() finds
nothing to do and returns without touching it, and rfcomm_dlc_open()
would then attach a DLC whose owner is gone. rfcomm_dlc_close() now
marks such a DLC with RFCOMM_CLOSED, and rfcomm_dlc_open() checks the
mark once it holds rfcomm_mutex again and drops the socket instead of
attaching the DLC. The mark is cleared when an open starts, so a DLC
that is reused is not affected. This covers both callers of
rfcomm_dlc_open(), the socket and the tty layer.

On 32-bit architectures where dma_addr_t is wider than unsigned long,
page_pool_set_dma_addr_netmem() stores page-aligned DMA addresses shifted
by PAGE_SHIFT. The net_iov branch of __skb_frag_dma_map() adds byte offsets
to the encoded value, so the NIC is programmed with an invalid DMA address.
This can trigger an IOMMU fault or DMA from unintended memory.
Consolidate DMA address encoding, decoding, and representability checks in
netmem helpers. Use the common decoder from the page pool and net_iov TX
paths so both interpret stored addresses consistently.

netdev_lockdep_set_classes() puts dev->lock in a separate lockdep class,
by type (netkit vs dummy etc), with the intent of keeping the instance
locks of individual devices as independent from each other as possible.
In practice it does the opposite. lockdep only calls the cmp_fn for locks
of the same class, so netdev_lock_cmp_fn() never gets a say when devices
from different classes are nested. Instead lockdep records a dependency
between the classes, and reports a circular locking problem as soon as
the nesting happens the other way round, e.g. when devices are unregistered
in a batch.

We can't put all devices in the same class, that'd be too permissive.
netdev_nl_queue_create_doit() and netdev_nl_bind_tx_doit() lock
a virtual device (netkit) before a physical device, without rtnl_lock.
We can never allow locking in the opposite order even under rtnl_lock.
cmp_fn cannot enforce this sort of rule: lockdep keys its chain cache on
the sequence of lock classes, so with a single class both orders hash
to the same chain and only whichever happens first is validated.
netdev_lock_cmp_fn() itself has another source of false-negatives.
lockdep calls it from within __lock_acquire(), with the recursion counter
already raised, so lock_is_held_type() always returns LOCK_STATE_UNKNOWN,
which means lockdep_rtnl_is_held() always returns true / held.
Use rtnl_is_locked(), which looks at the mutex directly and does
work from that context. We may still miss a bad case if some other
process is holding the lock, not us, but that's better than the
100% false negative rate of lockdep_rtnl_is_held().
One last thing, lockdep compares the address of the cmp function,
so it can't be a static inline - that would work similarly to having
separate classes, again. Move it to a source file.
Tested by nesting two instance locks from a module, one scenario per boot
since the first splat turns debug_locks off:

IP-in-IP GSO can re-enter inet_gso_segment() or ipv6_gso_segment()
for each nested IP header. encap_level tracks header bytes, not callback
depth, so a deep chain can exhaust the kernel stack. Making
inet_gso_segment() stackable introduced unbounded IPv4 nesting; IPIP
GSO/TSO later made the path reachable. The IPv6 stackable path was
introduced separately and uses the same guard.
Count IPv4 and IPv6 GSO handler entries in skb_gso_cb, initialized once
per top-level GSO operation and preserved across GRE/UDP context changes.
Use the existing IP_TUNNEL_RECURSION_LIMIT for both handlers. The first
five entries pass, and the sixth returns -EINVAL before dispatching
another GSO callback.

from Phil Sutter.
6) Do not bump invalid and drop conntrack error stats when packet is
dropped, this is another duplicate. also From Phil.
7) Set on netns pointer before registering the flowtable, this is
a requirement by the next patch, not fixing an existing issue.
From Qingfang Deng.
8) Remove unnecessary workqueue work flush for all of the existing
netns when device is gone. Also from Qingfang Deng.
9) Rework-fix nfnetlink_hook to correctly deal with large netlink
dumps. Use sequence numbers to detect interference with hook
updates while netlink dump is ongoing. From Phil Sutter.
10) Fix ctnetlink dump filtering by the IPv6 address, this has
only work correctly for IPv4 this far, from Piotr Kubik.
11) ctnetlink filtering by zone is supported, but the ctnetlink
dump filtering infrastructure was never updated to include a
flag from userspace, update it to fill this gap.

Now that vxlan->cfg is an RCU-protected pointer, storing default
destination attributes (remote_ip, remote_vni, remote_ifindex) in
vxlan->default_dst is redundant and creates potential data races for
lockless readers.
Furthermore, several fields of struct vxlan_rdst (remote_port,
offloaded, list, rcu, dst_cache) in default_dst were completely unused.
The remaining one, remote_dev, only tracked the lower device, a role
now taken by vxlan->lowerdev, so drop it from struct vxlan_rdst.
Replace vxlan->default_dst with a 'struct net_device *lowerdev' pointer
in struct vxlan_dev to track adjacent upper/lower netdev topology under
RTNL, and switch all remaining users over to reading configuration
attributes from vxlan->cfg.
Also update mlx5e_tc_tun_get_remote_ifindex() to read remote_ifindex
from vxlan->cfg under rcu_read_lock().
In vxlan_changelink(), pass lowerdev to vxlan_config_apply() to preserve
needed_headroom and needed_tailroom. The mtu is still only reconsidered
when the lower device changes, so that an unrelated changelink can not
shrink it.
cfg->remote_ifindex is now committed unconditionally, where
default_dst.remote_ifindex was left untouched when IFLA_VXLAN_LINK was
cleared, so a changelink dropping the lower device no longer leaves a
stale ifindex behind. For the same reason vxlan_changelink() no longer
needs to compute the ifindex that will actually be committed.
Setting IFLA_VXLAN_LINK to 0 now also tears down the upper/lower
adjacency, which netdev_adjacent_change_commit() used to skip for a NULL
new device, resets needed_tailroom, and is rejected if per-VNI multicast
groups are configured.

Move 'struct vxlan_config' from an embedded structure inside
'struct vxlan_dev' to a dynamically allocated RCU-protected pointer
'vxlan->cfg'.
Updating configuration via vxlan_changelink() or vxlan_dev_configure()
allocates a new struct vxlan_config and publishes it with
rcu_assign_pointer(), freeing the previous config with kfree_rcu().
Readers are converted to use rcu_dereference() or rtnl_dereference().
In vxlan_xmit(), acquire rcu_read_lock() to protect config access.

VXLAN_F_MDB is an internal runtime state flag indicating whether any
MDB entries are configured on the device, rather than a netlink
configuration attribute.
In preparation for converting vxlan->cfg to an RCU-protected pointer,
move VXLAN_F_MDB from struct vxlan_config to a dedicated 'flags' field
in struct vxlan_dev as VXLAN_DEV_F_MDB, using atomic bitops (set_bit(),
clear_bit(), test_bit()) to avoid KCSAN data races between the TX path
and RTNL operations.
This avoids having to dynamically reallocate and publish a new
vxlan_config structure via RCU whenever the first MDB entry is added
or the last one is removed, and prevents potential memory allocation
failures during MDB teardown under memory pressure.
mlxsw validates cfg->flags against a deny-by-default mask, so
VXLAN_F_MDB used to make mlxsw_sp_nve_vxlan_can_offload() reject a
device with MDB entries as carrying an unsupported flag. Add an
explicit VXLAN_DEV_F_MDB test there to keep that rejection, with a
message naming the actual reason.

Build WCs directly from CQEs and their corresponding published shadow
entries. This avoids iterating over all QPs that share a CQ. Track only
QPs in the error state instead of every QP associated with the CQ.
Keep the explicit GSI send-drain path responsible for adding the QP to
the send error list and invoking its CQ handler. To invoke the handler
for WQEs posted after GSI draining, check the QP state after posting
WQEs. This is required because MANA hardware ignores doorbells for QPs
in the error state.
Introduce a WC-budgeted polling context that caches CQEs representing
multiple WCs.
Before consuming a shadow entry, match the CQE against the low 24 bits
of the posted WQE offset to filter out stale CQEs. Implement WR signaling
to skip WC generation for unsignaled WQEs.

armed tails must remain below four times the CQ length.
Expose CQ arming to mana_ib through mana_gd_wq_ring_doorbell_ext().

build_pairing_cmd() looks up remote OOB data and copies its contents

Defer the cfg80211_reg_can_beacon_relax() check
from __nl80211_set_channel() for AP and P2P-GO.
At __nl80211_set_channel() stage AP type is not fully known
before start_ap, so this early check incorrectly rejects valid
VLP AP bring-up. start_ap has the required AP context and already
performs the regulatory validation, so start checking after start_ap.
This way, VLP APs can be brought up. Also handle the CSA scenario by
running regulatory beaconing validation during channel switch and
preserving/updating AP reg_power across CSA completion.

Add a new NL80211_CMD_NAN_SET_NON_EVAC_CHANNELS command that lets user
space mark a set of NAN channels as non-evacuable. The command carries
the channels as nested NL80211_ATTR_NAN_CHANNEL attributes (chandef
only) and replaces the entire set of non-evacuable channels; channels
not included in the list become evacuable again.
All provided channels must already exist in the current local schedule,
otherwise -ENOENT is returned. The command is rejected with -EBUSY
while a schedule update is pending.
This prevents the kernel from evacuating channels that carry NDC or

Handling of concurrent hook changes with a dump in progress was
problematic in nfnl_hook_dump and entirely broken in nfnl_hook_dump_nat.
Address all issues in a single patch to please the review LLM.
Introduce sequence numbers in struct netns_nf to replace pointer
value-based modification detection which may fail due to memory buffer
reuse. This also eliminates the need for most manual cb->seq updates and
excessive array index value checks.
Since nat hook updates are protected by a different mutex than others,
they have to bump their own sequence number. nfnl_hook_dump_nat
therefore open-codes what nl_dump_check_consistent does but bumps
cb->seq instead of setting NLM_F_DUMP_INTR flag.
Dumps of many nat hooks was entirely broken since the array index was
not (re)stored. Use cb->args[1] for that and make sure it is reset upon
completion as the same dump may loop over multiple arrays of nat hooks.
In nfnl_hook_dump, don't signal NLM_F_DUMP_INTR if
nfnl_hook_entries_head returns error: This is a permanent condition
which does not change during a dump. It is already caught by
nfnl_hook_dump_start though, so should not happen anyway.
In general, access ops array pointer values using READ_ONCE since they
are assigned to using WRITE_ONCE.
Avoid setting NLM_F_DUMP_INTR flag in garbage memory by calling
nl_dump_check_consistent only for non-empty skbs. If not a single
netlink message was created, nfnetlink code will take care of setting
the flag.

tcp_write_collapse_fence() sets TCP_SKB_CB(skb)->eor = 1 on
tcp_write_queue_tail(sk) to prevent skbs queued after a switch to
device encryption from being collapsed into earlier skbs.
The fence is a no-op if all earlier data has already been transmitted
when the switch happens: sk->sk_write_queue is empty. The not yet
acknowledged earlier skbs wait in sk->tcp_rtx_queue with eor 0.
On a subsequent retransmit or SACK shift, tcp_retrans_try_collapse() or
tcp_shift_skb_data() can then merge an skb queued after the switch into
one queued before it.
Both users of the fence are affected:
- psp: devices only encrypt skbs with skb->decrypted set. The merged skb
keeps decrypted = 0 from the earlier skb, so merged data sent after
psp_sock_assoc_set_tx() is retransmitted in cleartext.
- tls device offload: the merged skb straddles the start marker set in
tls_set_device_offload(). The software fallback (fill_sg_in() returns
-EINVAL) and the mlx5, nfp and funeth drivers cannot handle such an
skb and drop it. Every retransmit rebuilds the same skb, so the
connection stalls.
Fix this in two places, for defense in depth:
1. Fall back to tcp_rtx_queue_tail(sk) in tcp_write_collapse_fence()
when tcp_write_queue_tail(sk) is NULL.
2. Check !skb_cmp_decrypted(to, from) in tcp_skb_can_collapse(), as
tcp_skb_can_collapse_rx() does on receive. skb_shift(), which both
collapse paths call, already has a DEBUG_NET_WARN_ON_ONCE() for this
condition.

In a case where skb with an unconfirmed ct entry gets cloned, we may
end up committing both but with different sets of extensions.
The series of events:
1. The first clone wants to commit and runs the helpers wiring up
the extension pointer into the expectation list.
2. Then it looses the confirmation keeping the entry unconfirmed.
3. Second clone now wants to commit labels and adds the new extension
for that breaking the pointer in the expectation list causing
UAF on the destruction path later.
While this is possible to trigger, there should be no practical
network pipeline where committing both clones without modifications
into the same zone is needed. So, let's just reset the entry in case
for some reason we got an skb with a shared one during commit. This
doesn't affect any known use cases, but avoids any potential problems
with sharing and modification of the unconfirmed ct entry.
The fixes tag points to the introduction of helpers, since that's the
main UAF trigger for the sharing.
