2011-10-17arm/imx: explicitly includes mach/hardware.h in pm-imx27.cShawn Guo
The pm-imx27.c references a number of things requiring the explicit inclusion of mach/hardware.h. Otherwise, when indirect inclusion to mach/hardware.h gets cleaned up, we will see the following compile error. CC arch/arm/mach-imx/pm-imx27.o arch/arm/mach-imx/pm-imx27.c: In function ‘mx27_suspend_enter’: arch/arm/mach-imx/pm-imx27.c:22:3: error: implicit declaration of function ‘IOMEM’ arch/arm/mach-imx/pm-imx27.c:22:3: error: implicit declaration of function ‘IMX_IO_P2V’ arch/arm/mach-imx/pm-imx27.c: In function ‘mx27_pm_init’: arch/arm/mach-imx/pm-imx27.c:42:2: error: implicit declaration of function ‘cpu_is_mx27’ Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
2011-10-17arm/imx: remove mx27_setup_weimcs() from mx27.hShawn Guo
The helper function mx27_setup_weimcs() references IOMEM() and IMX_IO_P2V() but without required header mach/hardware.h included in mx27.h. This will break the build of those mx27 file with no direct inclusion of mach/hardware.h, or when indirect inclusion to mach/hardware.h breaks. For example, when the inclusion of mach/hardware.h gets removed from mach/gpio.h, we will see the following compile error. The helper function mx31_setup_weimcs() references IOMEM() and IMX_IO_P2V() but without required header mach/hardware.h included in mx31.h. 2011-10-17ARM: 7022/1: allow to detect conflicting zreladdrsSascha Hauer
Boards used to specify zreladdr in their Makefile.boot with zreladdr-y := x, so conflicting zreladdrs were silently overwritten. This patch changes this to zreladdr-y += x, so that we end up with multiple words in zreladdr in such a case. We can detect this later and complain if necessary. 2011-09-28arm/imx: change mxc_init_l2x0() to an imx31/35 specific callShawn Guo
The mxc_init_l2x0() should really be an imx31/35 specific call. The patch removes early_initcall from mxc_init_l2x0() and get imx31 and imx35 soc specific function calls mxc_init_l2x0(), so that it's not necessarily to be called for all imx socs when we build single image for multiple imx socs. Thus the function can be renamed to imx3_init_l2x0() and put into mm-imx3.c. It also changes the return type from integer to void. From what I see, the integer was picked just to satisfy early_initcall prototype. With the patch 'ARM: l2x0: add empty l2x0_of_init' applied, the code compiles even without CONFIG_CACHE_L2X0 enabled. 2011-08-01i.MX25 GPT clock fix: ensure correct the clock sourceMehnert, Torsten
Request for comment and commit. From: T. Mehnert <t.mehnert@eckelmann.de> Date: Mon, 4 Jul 2011 15:53:30 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] i.MX25 GPT clock fix: ensure correct the clock source This patch ensures, that Linux will take the correct clock source (AHB_DIV) for gpt in the ARM i.MX25 implementation. The currect code depends on the reset defaults of the CCM_MCR register. So on some boards it could happen that the UPLL is used for clock source, which results in faulty time behavior in Linux. In this case all delays or sleeps will will be faktor 1.8 too long. Signed-off-by: Torsten Mehnert <t.mehnert@eckelmann.de> Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>

2011-07-27net/fec: gasket needs to be enabled for some i.mxShawn Guo
On the recent i.mx (mx25/50/53), there is a gasket inside fec controller which needs to be enabled no matter phy works in MII or RMII mode. The current code enables the gasket only when phy interface is RMII. It's broken when the driver works with a MII phy. 2011-07-27serial/imx: get rid of the uses of cpu_is_mx1()Shawn Guo
The patch removes all the uses of cpu_is_mx1(). Instead, it uses the .id_table of platform_driver to distinguish the uart device type, IMX1_UART and IMX21_UART. The IMX21_UART type runs on all i.mx except i.mx1. A couple of !cpu_is_mx1 logic gets turned into is_imx21_uart, as the codes wrapped there are really IMX21 type uart specific. It also removes macro MX1_UCR3_REF25 and MX1_UCR3_REF30 which are not used anywhere.
