acpi_gpiochip_request_interrupts() will check for ACPI handle of the GPIO chip parent device and bail out if there is none defined. Thus, has_acpi_companion() is effectively repeating above and is not needed in the individual driver. Assigning ->to_irq() unconditionally doesn't change anything, except an error code, but this we fix as well by propagating it from platform_get_irq(). Simplify the code which fetches the input clock by using devm_clk_get_optional(). If no input clock is present devm_clk_get_optional() will return NULL instead of an error which matches the behavior of the old code. gpio: mb86s70: Revert "Return error if requesting an already assigned gpio"

Commit fd9c963c5661 ("gpio: mb86s70: Return error if requesting an already assigned gpio") adds code that infers from the state of the GPIO Pin Function Register (PFR) whether a GPIO has been assigned already. This assumes that the pin functions are set to 'peripheral' when the driver is loaded, which is not guaranteed. Also, the GPIO layer is perfectly capable of keeping track of which GPIOs have been assigned already, so we shouldn't need this check in the first place.
