UDP sockets get SOCK_RCU_FREE set when (auto-)bound. This means
sk_is_refcounted(unbound) = true, while sk_is_refcounted(bound) = false.

Because sockmap accepts unbound UDP sockets, a BPF program can increment a
socket's refcount via lookup. If the socket is subsequently bound, the
transition from unbound to bound causes bpf_sk_release() to skip the
decrement of the refcount, causing a memory leak.

Instead of special-casing for refcounted sockets, reject unhashed UDP
sockets during sockmap updates, as there is no benefit to supporting those.
This effectively reverts the commit under Fixes, with two exceptions:

1. sock_map_sk_state_allowed() maintains a fall-through `return true`.
2. In the spirit of commit b8b8315e39ff ("bpf, sockmap: Remove unhash
   handler for BPF sockmap usage"), the proto::unhash BPF handler is not
   reintroduced.

Historical note: this issue is related to commit 67312adc96b5 ("bpf: reject
unhashed sockets in bpf_sk_assign").

Fixes: 0c48eefae712 ("sock_map: Lift socket state restriction for datagram sockets")

<title>bpf, sockmap: reject a packet-modifying SK_SKB stream parser</title>

sk_psock_strp_parse() runs the BPF_PROG_TYPE_SK_SKB stream-parser program
to find the length of the next message. strparser assembles a message out
of several received skbs by chaining them onto the head's frag_list and
recording where to append the next one in strp-&gt;skb_nextp:

	*strp-&gt;skb_nextp = skb;
	strp-&gt;skb_nextp = &amp;skb-&gt;next;

and then calls the parser on the head:

	len = (*strp-&gt;cb.parse_msg)(strp, head);

The parser is only meant to inspect the skb, but the program may call
bpf_skb_change_tail() -- or the sibling bpf_skb_pull_data(),
bpf_skb_change_head(), bpf_skb_adjust_room(), all allowed for SK_SKB.
Once the head carries a frag_list these go

	... -&gt; skb_ensure_writable -&gt; pskb_may_pull -&gt; __pskb_pull_tail

and __pskb_pull_tail() frees the frag_list skbs that strparser still
tracks through skb_nextp:

	while ((list = skb_shinfo(skb)-&gt;frag_list) != insp) {
		skb_shinfo(skb)-&gt;frag_list = list-&gt;next;
		consume_skb(list);
	}

strp-&gt;skb_nextp now points into a freed sk_buff. The next segment of
the same message arrives in __strp_recv(), which links it with
*strp-&gt;skb_nextp = skb, an 8-byte write into the freed skb. The free
and the write happen in different __strp_recv() calls, so the message
has to span at least three segments before it triggers.

The same resize also leaves the head's length inconsistent with its
frags, so a later __pskb_pull_tail() can instead hit the
BUG_ON(skb_copy_bits(...)) in net/core/skbuff.c.

A stream parser is only meant to measure the next message, not to modify
the packet. Reject a parser whose program can change packet data
(prog-&gt;aux-&gt;changes_pkt_data) at attach time. The check is shared by
sock_map_prog_update() and sock_map_link_update_prog(), which between them
cover prog attach, link create and link update. Verdict programs are
unaffected and may still modify the skb.

<title>sockmap: Fix sk_psock_drop() race vs sock_map_{unhash,close,destroy}().</title>

syzbot reported a splat in sock_map_destroy() [0], where psock was
NULL even though sk-&gt;sk_prot still pointed to tcp_bpf_prots[][].

The stack trace shows how badly the path was excercised, see
inet_release() calls tcp_close(), not sock_map_close() yet, but
finally reaching sock_map_destroy().

The root cause is a lack of synchronisation.

Even if sk_psock_get() fails to bump psock-&gt;refcnt, it does not
guarantee that sk_psock_drop() has finished, and thus sk-&gt;sk_prot
might not have been restored to the original one.

Commit 4b4647add7d3 ("sock_map: avoid race between sock_map_close
and sk_psock_put") attempted to address this, but it was insufficient
for two reasons.

It did not cover sock_map_unhash() and sock_map_destroy(), and
it missed the corner case where sk_psock() is NULL.

On non-x86 platforms, sk_psock_restore_proto(sk, psock) and
rcu_assign_sk_user_data(sk, NULL) can be reordered because there
is no address dependency between sk-&gt;sk_prot and sk-&gt;sk_user_data.

sk_psock_get() returning NULL implies nothing about sk-&gt;sk_prot.

Let's simply retry sk_psock_get() in the unlikely case.

Note that we cannot avoid loop even if we added memory barrier
in sk_psock_drop() and sock_map_psock_get_checked().

Also note that sock_map_destroy() cannot be called from softirq
while sock_map_close() has also been running.
It is because sock_map_destroy() requires SOCK_DEAD, so sock_map_destroy()
cannot happen until sock_map_close() has finished the saved_close()
(which is tcp_close()).

sock_map_sk_state_allowed() and sock_map_redirect_allowed() read af_unix
socket sk_state locklessly.

Use READ_ONCE(). Note that for sock_map_redirect_allowed() change affects
not only af_unix, but all non-TCP sockets (UDP, af_vsock).

This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from
scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to
avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and
instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union
object instances:

Single allocations:	kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...)

Array allocations:	kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_objs(TYPE, COUNT, ...)

Flex array allocations:	kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_flex(*PTR, FAM, COUNT, ...)

(where TYPE may also be *VAR)

The resulting allocations no longer return "void *", instead returning
"TYPE *".

Attach_type will be set when a link is created by user. It is better to
record attach_type in bpf_link generically and have it available
universally for all link types. So add the attach_type field in bpf_link
and move the sleepable field to avoid unnecessary gap padding.

<title>sockmap, vsock: For connectible sockets allow only connected</title>

sockmap expects all vsocks to have a transport assigned, which is expressed
in vsock_proto::psock_update_sk_prot(). However, there is an edge case
where an unconnected (connectible) socket may lose its previously assigned
transport. This is handled with a NULL check in the vsock/BPF recv path.

Another design detail is that listening vsocks are not supposed to have any
transport assigned at all. Which implies they are not supported by the
sockmap. But this is complicated by the fact that a socket, before
switching to TCP_LISTEN, may have had some transport assigned during a
failed connect() attempt. Hence, we may end up with a listening vsock in a
sockmap, which blows up quickly:

For connectible sockets, instead of relying solely on the state of
vsk-&gt;transport, tell sockmap to only allow those representing established
connections. This aligns with the behaviour for AF_INET and AF_UNIX.

<title>bpf: Disable non stream socket for strparser</title>

Currently, only TCP supports strparser, but sockmap doesn't intercept
non-TCP connections to attach strparser. For example, with UDP, although
the read/write handlers are replaced, strparser is not executed due to
the lack of a read_sock operation.

Furthermore, in udp_bpf_recvmsg(), it checks whether the psock has data,
and if not, it falls back to the native UDP read interface, making
UDP + strparser appear to read correctly. According to its commit history,
this behavior is unexpected.

Moreover, since UDP lacks the concept of streams, we intercept it directly.
