<title>dt-bindings: net: wireless: add flag marvell,invalid-reg-hint-in-rom</title>

WRT3200ACM and WRT32x routers always report a fixed US regulatory domain
from the mwifiex ROM, which conflicts with the platform regulatory
configuration on units sold outside the US market. For example:
- phy0 mwlwifi 5 GHz, hard-coded region 98 EU mapped to FR
- phy1 mwlwifi 2.4 GHz, hard-coded region 98 EU mapped to FR
- phy2 mwifiex 2.4 and 5 GHz, hard-coded region US

When the system boots, it detects a conflict between the user selected
region and the radios, e.g. BG FR US, and applies extreme restrictions,
preventing phy0 from starting on any DFS channel. phy2 works.

Add a device-tree flag, which allows affected devices, where the radio
conflicts with the platform to ignore the incorrect regulatory hint in
the ROM of the radio, so the platform regulatory domain can be used.
This does not allow the user to change the regulatory configuration of
any radio. It only allows phy0 to start and operate according to its
certified configuration.

The WFxxx device provides an SDIO interface. In addition to the usual
in-band SDIO IRQ, the device also supports an out-of-band IRQ line.

However, using the OOB IRQ with SDIO requires to poll the control
register during the device initialization. This polling is unreliable:
if an IRQ is raised while the host reads the control register, the
device is lost and only a reset allows to recover it.

There is no way to fix this in software. So, warn the user that this
setup should be reserved to debug.

The ath12k-wsi binding documentation describes using the
generation-specific qcom,ath12k-calibration-variant binding as well as
the generation-agnostic qcom,calibration-variant binding to load
board-specific calibration data from the device tree. However, the
driver never implemented either of these.

Given that no devices currently supported use
qcom,ath12k-calibration-variant and the previous patch implements
qcom,calibration-variant, drop the generation-specific version from the
binding to prevent future confusion.

Document the WCN6755 WiFi using a fallback to WCN6750 since the two
chips seem to be completely pin and software compatible. In fact the
original downstream kernel just pretends the WCN6755 is a WCN6750.

Pull devicetree updates from Rob Herring:
 "DT core:

   - Add support for handling multiple cells in "iommu-map" entries

   - Support only 1 entry in /reserved-memory "reg" entries. Support for
     more than 1 entry has been broken

   - Fix a UAF on alloc_reserved_mem_array() failure

   - Make "ibm,phandle" handling logic specific to PPC

   - Use memcpy() instead of strcpy() for known length strings

   - Ensure __of_find_n_match_cpu_property() handles malformed "reg"
     entries

   - Add various checks that expected strings are strings before
     accessing them

   - Drop redundant memset() when unflattening DT

   - Add a DTS style checker. Currently hooked up to dt_binding_check to

The SPI version of Prism54 was sold under a couple of different
names and supported by the Linux p54spi driver, but there was
never a DT binding for it.

Document the four known names of this device and the properties
that are sufficient for its use on the Nokia N8x0 tablet.

As I don't have this hardware or documentation for it, this is
purely based on existing usage in the driver.

The unfortunately named 'phandle-array' property type is really a matrix
with phandle and fixed arg cells entries. A matrix property should have 2
levels of items constraints.
